I am a textile artist and graduated in 2006 from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with a Bachelor´s degree in Design.
My first contact with Shibori was in Australia. Later on I had the possibility to study more in depth at Konstfack, Universty of Design and Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden.
I sense great freedom in the media of textile. The cultural meaning and ever lasting necessity of textile holds great value and is a deep well of inspiration. I manipulate the textile in various steps into three-dimentionality.
